Accolade Musikverlag und Notenversand was founded in 1995 in Bad Wiessee, Bavaria, by Celia Collins and Bodo Koenigsbeck, who has been sole owner since 2002. Whilst working on his bassoon bibliography (Musica Rara, now Breitkopf & Härtel), Bodo Koenigsbeck discovered numerous unpublished manuscripts in various archives. He published these works and also contemporary pieces and arrangements in his own publishing house. Therefore the emphasis is on music for bassoon, but also to a large extent on string chamber music (amongst other things, the complete chamber music for strings from trios to sextet by Ferdinand Ries).
